The Trinity College Men's Rowing Team kicked off their 2017-2018 campaign at their home race, the Head of the Riverfront. The team competed in events across all boat classes throughout the day. In the Men's Open eight event, the team finished first, fourth, and fifth. The 1V won the inaugural Muncie Cup, the trophy given to the winner of the Men's Open eight event. The team has been showing great depth and raw talent throughout the first month of the school year. The freshman class has done an excellent job working with the returning athletes to form fast lineups. In the afternoon, the team threw together lineups the previous for upcoming bragging rights races in the Men's Open 4+ and Men's Open 4x events. Both the coaches and athletes raced hard on the course for the intra-squad matches. The men's team will race on October 14th in Worcester for the Snake Regatta against rivals WPI, and Holy Cross.
